Join our seed-starting workshop on August 23, 2025 from 8:30-11am. Class hosted on our farm. You must be pre-registered to attend.
We'll cover soil blocking, light, temperature, and humidity. In this hands-on class, you will assemble your tray of 25 soil blocks and seeds. You'll take it home, plug in your light and nature your future garden.
We will be concentrating this class on sowing cold hardy, frost tolerant vegetables. There will also be an opportunity to purchase seeds that can be directly sown/planted outdoors next month (September).
What you get:
A Seed Starting Tray + Dome that can hold 25 soil blocks.
You will make the soil blocks and choose the 5 types of seeds that you want to grow and label them accordingly. You will get to pick your seeds! Seed Choices include an assortment of cabbages, kale, lettuces, broccoli, arugula, spinach, bok choy, and cauliflower.
You'll go home with a dome and light to setup your seed starts and get them growing as well as a guide to walk you through getting them in the ground including watering, fertilizing, gardening them off and transplanting.
Your guide will help you remember everything we discussed and keep you on track over the coming weeks.
